Stillwater has not lost at home to the Plainsmen since 1990. The key District 6A-4 loss dropped the Plainsmen to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the league. Enid has lost two straight after beginning the season 3-0. Stillwater improved to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the district.

The Plainsmen lost their first game of the season Friday night in the District 6A-4 opener against Owasso. The eighth-ranked Plainsmen lost 41-14 to the unranked Rams.

A crowd of 4,500 fans watched as the Plainsmen had trouble keeping the ball. Fumbles and interceptions kept the Enid High football team from getting on track as they had in their prior three games. Enid (3-1) will regroup and get ready for next weeks Friday league game at Stillwater.

Owasso (1-3) picked up its first win of the season after close losses to three very good football teams - Muskogee, Broken Arrow and Jenks.

Enid defeated Bartlesville in its 2008 homecoming game. The Plainsmen are now 3-0 under Coach Parker.

The Enid Plainsmen defeated Sapulpa 48-16 in the Plainsmen home opener at D. Bruce Selby Stadium. Daniel Barwick rushed for 184 yards to help the Plainsmen in their second victory of the season.

Plainsmen quarterback Clint Chelf compled 8 of 14 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 53 yards.

The Plainsmen gained over 400-yards in their second straight game.

The Enid Plainsmen won their first game under Coach Parker with a 38-23 defeat over Sand Springs. The Plainsmen gained 21 first downs while rushing for 181 yards and passing for another 279.
