John Burton started playing football in the sixth grade. He hasn’t played the same position all his life, but his favorite position is “dog.” His favorite position is the dog because it is a mixture between linebacker and safety. John’s favorite pro athlete is Barry Sanders, and he thinks he is a good role model. Unlike most plainsmen, John has no “Game Day Superstitions.” John plans on playing football after high school, he doesn’t care where it is as long as he is playing football! His future plans are to become a forensics science officer. His most memorable high school football memory is getting two great sacks.

Trent Dupy has been playing playing football since the first grade! He has always played the same position and it just so happens to be his favorite, defensive tackle. It is his favorite position because it has always been his position. His favorite pro athlete is Dusty Davoracek, and Trent thinks that Dusty is a good role model. His game day superstitions are going through his daily routine. He plans on playing football after high school at Tulsa University. His future plans are being a football coach. His most memorable high school football memory is Tulsa Camp.
