Plainsmen Fumble Against Owosso
The Plainsmen lost their first game of the season Friday night in the District 6A-4 opener against Owasso. The eighth-ranked Plainsmen lost 41-14 to the unranked Rams.
A crowd of 4,500 fans watched as the Plainsmen had trouble keeping the ball. Fumbles and interceptions kept the Enid High football team from getting on track as they had in their prior three games. Enid (3-1) will regroup and get ready for next weeks Friday league game at Stillwater.
Owasso (1-3) picked up its first win of the season after close losses to three very good football teams - Muskogee, Broken Arrow and Jenks.
